All members can now access the recording of our latest webinar – Frailty and multimorbidity in geriatric VAD patients which was held on Tuesday 14 July 2026, 5.30pm (AEST)/ 7.30pm (NZST).

In this FREE webinar, three experienced VAD clinicians discuss how they assess frailty and multimorbidity in geriatric patients, referring to complex cases.

The panellists:

  • Dr Andrea Bendrups, rheumatologist, general physician and one of Australia’s earliest and highest-volume VAD practitioners.
  • Dr Chloe Furst, dual trained geriatrician and palliative care physician, and the South Australian VAD clinical advisor with a special interest in multimorbidity.
  • Dr Aditi Halder, geriatrician and VAD practitioner with special interests in cognition, neurodegeneration and end-of-life care.

Hosted by Susan Jury, VADANZ Director and the lead of the Victorian VAD care navigator service.
